What I Said to Oprah When I Met Her
“So what are you going to say to Oprah when you meet her? Are you going to ask her why she never called you back?!", my wife jokingly asks me the night before I head out on my one-day roundtrip to NYC for an intimate gathering hosted by Threads Creator Book Club and Oprah’s Book Club. The invitation came less than two weeks ago and I jumped at the idea of getting to attend my first Threads Creator Book Club event. The fact that it would be with Oprah and Oprah’s Book Club was too big of an idea to settle into my brain but let’s be honest, who wouldn’t jump at the idea of attending an “intimate gathering” with Oprah?
